Footprint Introduction

Description:

This activity is called "Footprint Introductions". This activity is used to help students introduce themselves to the class. The requirements for this activity are, displaying your name on your footprint, use 3 different types of media, and be creative. You can prompt the students with some questions to help them come up with ideas (Where are you from, do you have pets, what is your favorite food?). After students complete their art, they will present it to the class. This is great opportunity for students to express themselves and have them get to know each other. This is great for you as the teacher to get to know students' interests. 

Extension Activity:

 After students complete their presentation, they would pair up into smaller groups that have the same interest. From there they can ask more questions about their favorite interest. This activity is great for getting to know someone on a more personal level. It is important for students to build their relationships with their other classmates.
