3D Pop-Up

 

Description:

We listened to a PowerPoint about 3D art and then drew a random scene and two objects. We worked together as parters to draw the scene and made the characters. We added an extra object to our scene here. We folded construction paper in half and cut two-line pairs into the fold of the paper. We folded the pop outs forward and glued our objects on the pop outs. We explained to the class what our scene was about. 

Extension Activity:

I would have the students write a story about the scene that they have created. It would have to be at least a page long. Then I would have them share their story with their classmates. After they I would display their scene and story around the classroom and have other classes look at their work.
